About St. Andrew’s

Built in 1914, St Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Paradis Louisiana is one of the oldest active churches in St Charles Parish. The quaint little white cypress church was originally built by the Presbyterians who later merged with another Presbyterian church in the nearby town of Luling in 1967. After this merger, a group of Episcopalians in the area petitioned the Louisiana Episcopal diocese to create a mission station at St Andrews. Full mission status was given to the little church on January 25, 1969.

Today St Andrews is a small welcoming congregation who delights in sharing the Episcopal liturgy in this beautiful gem of a church. We are fortunate at this time to have a rotation of some of the finest chaplains and clergy in the New Orleans area who have vast experience interpreting and sharing the word of God. No matter what your religious background, all are welcome to attend and experience the majesty of Christ in our beloved church, St Andrew’s Episcopal.
